Maclaren, an English brand, have almost 50 years of experience when it comes to designing buggies and they are as popular as ever!  Each year they come out with new designs and variants, suiting a whole range of lifestyles and trends.  As it is, Maclaren buggies generally score amongst the top in all rating systems, from foldability, manoeuvrability, adaptability to practicality (such as sponge washable seat and carry strap). 

The ones listed below all have had excellent reviews, it’s simply down to you to choose which you like best!  Most of them are suited for children up to 25kg (about 5 years).

• Maclaren Volo – fixed seat position so suitable only from 6 months, little padding so uncomfortable for longer journeys BUT only weighs 3.9kg
• Maclaren Triumph – seat can be reclined making the buggy suitable from 3 months onwards, weighs 5kg
• Maclaren Quest Sport/ Mod – extra relining positions therefore suitable from birth, extendable leg rest, reflective accents and UV proof viewing mirror in the canopy, weighs 5.5kg
• Maclaren Techno XT – also has several reclining positions making the buggy suitable from birth, extendable leg rest, reflective accents and UV proof viewing mirror in the canopy.  This one also comes with extendable handles to adjust to height of pusher; weighs 6.4kg
• Maclaren Techno XLR – this buggy is pretty much the same as the Maclaren Techno XT but suitable for weights up to 30kg.  The buggy weighs 7.4kg
