Finally, there's a way to protect your kids from both the heat and fire of your fire place / wood burning stove as well as the dangerous corners and hard surfaces surrounding many fire places!

What's more, if your fire place / stove is in the corner or somewhere where there are no straight mounting points, then the BabyDan fire gate is your solution as you can position it pretty much exactly as you need.  The standard gate comes with five 60cm panels that interlock in 10° increments.  This means that you can angle your gate repeatedly or set it in a straight line, providing the most flexible solution for your fireplace!

The standard gate fits fire places of 180cm by 60cm and you can add extension panels of 20.5cm and 60cm (choose in the drop down menu below).  Like this you can really customise the fire gate to your specific needs!   Included in the five piece basic set is a walk through gate section that can be installed anywhere in the configuration and opens in either direction with a simple one hand adult release.  The fire gate is 70cm high and made of strong tubular steel with a black, non-toxic, heat resistant finish that is easy to maintain and blends with any decor.

This fire gate is suitable for children up to 36 months and complies to Safety standards BS 4125.1991.

Please note that this is a fire surround not a fire guard.  It is intended to keep children away from the area surrounding the fire place.
