Are you looking for a unique gift for your baby, grandchild or special little friend - maybe organic and definitely practical?   The International Baby Shop can help you!

Set up in 2008, the International Baby Shop offers a selection of quality, child-friendly and useful baby products.  Many of these can be personalised with your baby's name and other features.   Since other Internet shops also offer great baby products we have carefully selected some of these to recommend to you in our shop.  By clicking on the links indicated you will be taken directly to the relevant shop where you can buy the items directly.  We call these products 'webfinds'.

All of our products can be placed on a wish list so that you can let your family, friends and colleagues know what you would like for your baby shower. 

‘As Mother-of-two I always want to give my kids the best Nature can provide so I wouldn’t want to sell anything less in my web shop.  Most of all I have selected practical products.  There is simply so much choice that it can be difficult for a first-time Mum to know what to look out for.   At least this is what I found, when I was working full-time up to a week before my daughter’s birth and didn’t really know what would be the most useful to us in our new family life.

To complicate matters, my baby was going to be a quarter English, Irish, Dutch and German – a true international baby of this mobile and boundary-less age!  English tradition is superstitious about buying too many items before the baby is born.  Internet shopping is the solution to this.  By all means try out  prams and buggies in a high street shop but buy them online just before your baby is due – you can do so from the comfort of your own home instead of having to trapse into town when you really should be resting!

German culture enjoys making the gift experience unique, which is why I’ve included many products that can be personalised.  Dutch family and friends expect birth announcement cards pretty much within a day of the baby being born and the Irish also don’t like wasting money on teddy bears that will simply gather dust on the shelf instead of giving something you really want.  This is why I wanted to include a  wish list facility in my shop.  You can chose what you’d like for your new baby and your family, friends and colleagues will be informed of this in an unobtrusive manner via email or your birth announcement card.

I’ve had great fun using my BSc and MSc Human Biology research skills to put together a product range that meets my stringent quality, practicality and uniqueness criteria.  My business strategy has been developed using novel and established e-commerce concepts I’ve learnt about during my MBA studies so you are dealing with a well-thought through shop based on years of professional experience.
